Project Dependency

To edit existing project dependency information pertaining to a project, or to capture new information, navigate to the project dependency tab on the projects window.

The project dependency tab allows users to tag a number of existing projects as either predecessor, concurrent or successor projects in relation to a specific project.

• Predecessor: A project that is related to this project and needs to commence before this project.
• Concurrent: A project that is related to this project and needs to commence simultaneously.
• Successor: A project that is related to this project and needs to commence once this project has already commenced.

To build project dependencies, navigate to the build option under the project dependency menu and take note of the following:

• (O-1) To add a new project dependency, click on the “add” button based on type of dependency to be added.
• (O-2) If a dependency was previously added it will be listed under the type of dependency applicable. To delete an existing reference, click on the “delete” button.
• (O-3) To view dependency types and edit this information separately, navigate to the build options.
• (O-4) To navigate between the different dependency types, click the forward or back arrow.

Once a new project dependency is added, the following window will appear.

Search for the relevant project name or ID.

From the search results, select the relevant project to be added as a project dependency. Once the project is selected, the project will be added to the list of dependencies.
